Clavicons Institutional Registration Policy
At Clavicons, we are committed to maintaining a trusted and high-quality learning environment. To ensure only legitimate and accredited institutions, universities, colleges, and reputable organizations can create and offer courses on our platform, we have implemented the following Institutional Registration Policy.
1. Eligibility
- Only the following entities are eligible to register as institutions on Clavicons:
- Accredited universities, polytechnics and colleges
- Recognized vocational and training centers
- Licensed professional institutions
- Registered companies and corporate training providers
2. Institutional Email Requirement
All institutional registrations must be completed using an official institutional or corporate email address (e.g., name@university.edu or training@company.com). Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) are not permitted.
3. Required Documents for Verification
All institutions must upload the following documents for verification:
- A valid letter of authorization on official letterhead, signed by an appropriate authority (e.g., Head of Department, Dean, or Director)
- Proof of employment (staff ID card)
- Social media account (preferably LinkedIn)
4. Manual Review & Approval
Each registration request will be reviewed by the Clavicons team. During the review:
- Documents will be verified for authenticity
- Website and digital presence may be cross-checked
- A video call may be requested for additional verification
The institution will receive a confirmation once their profile is approved. Until approval is granted, the account will remain in “pending” status and will not have access to course creation tools.
5. Verification Badge
Approved institutions will receive a “Verified Institution” badge that will be publicly visible. This badge builds trust with learners and reflects institutional credibility.
6. Misrepresentation
Clavicons maintains a zero-tolerance policy for misrepresentation. Any attempt to falsely register as an institution will result in permanent removal and potential legal action.
7. Partnership Agreement (Optional)
Institutions seeking long-term collaboration may be required to sign a digital Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining responsibilities, benefits, and commitments.
At Clavicons, we believe in quality, trust, and integrity. Our Institutional Registration Policy is designed to protect the credibility of our platform, ensure that learners receive education from verified and reputable sources, and foster meaningful partnerships with leading institutions and organizations. By following this process, we uphold a standard that benefits both educators and learners across Africa and beyond. We look forward to welcoming you as a trusted partner in shaping the future of accessible, impactful education.
